Recitals and Costumes
Recital Fee:
There will be a Spring Recital every May to close the dance season at the Georgia Mountains Center in Gainesville. Every Ballet, etc. student may be in the Spring Recital, one dance for every class that they are enrolled in.* There will be a recital fee of $50 for each student to help cover the cost of the location. This fee is due upon registration.
Costume Fee:
Every student participating in the Spring Recital is required to buy a costume, one for every class that they are in. There is a flat fee of $80 for each costume that is due upon registration. Costumes will be ordered in November. There will be no refunds given for costume fees after November 1st. The costume fee must be paid in full before costumes are ordered. All fees must be paid and tuition must be current in order for the student to receive a costume and participate in the Spring Recital.
Picture Day:
There will be a Picture Day at Ballet, etc. in the spring where a professional photographer will come take pictures of the students in their costumes individually and also with their class. Fees are paid directly to the photographer on that day and will depend on what picture packages you order.
Spring Recital DVD's:
The Spring Recital will be video recorded by a professional videographer. DVD's may be ordered for $25 per DVD, paid to the videographer anytime beforehand.
*Ballet/Tap and Ballet/Jazz Combo Classes will perform a ballet dance piece and a tap or jazz dance piece using the same costume.
